Whisper, Nudge, Brick, Wall, House - Which do you want to listen to?

I had the great fortune to hear Cindy Cashman speak last week at the BookWise conference. How refreshing it was to hear someone speak about the value of following the inner guidance we all have available to us. The sooner you get the message, the easier the lesson will be.

Have you or has someone you know been through a situation where you got some inner guidance and ignored it, then when something happens later, you say, “I should have listened to that hunch”?

The quiet still voice of God/divinity speaks to you all the time, giving you direction and helping you make choices. Do you listen?

if you ignore the whisper, the next time you get a message, you’ll get a nudge.

If you don’t heed the nudge, God throws a brick at you.

If you still don’t get it, a wall of bricks falls down on you.

And if you’re still too dense to follow the lead of intuition, which came first as a whisper, a whole house falls down on you. I know someone who had misgivings about forming a business partnership but still went ahead as planned, despite the bad gut feeling. The partner ruined the business and he was out $75,000. Too bad he didn’t heed the whisper!

How often have you had a feeling about something–but ignored it. That’s whe whisper, and be sure that something will give you a hard nudge next time. Fail to pay attention, and the lesson gets harder and harder from there.

But maybe you’ve been jaded for so long, you don’t know if you even HAVE a still small voice of inner guidance anymore…Maybe you’re wondering, “Do I even have intuition anymore? How can I develop my intuition?”
