This enemy Is Worse Than Any Dragon
August 9th, 2007 · Filed Under: Success Toolbox · tell powerful stories
I love stories about knights and dragons and unicorns and the like. There’s always a fight for good and an enemy that is most often visible and tangible, like a dragon, for example. Yes, I know that in some stories dragons are good, but in a LOT of them, dragons are “the bad guy” trying to eat the virgin or destroy the village or whatever.
Most of the time, the enemies in stories are tangible: the dragon, a forest fire, a tornado, a monster, or an evil wizard.
Sometimes the enemy in a story is not visible, like a virus. Although the “bad guy” may not be visible, the effects of this enemy on people are most definitely visible.
Let me tell you a story about an invisible enemy that is inside you right now.
<enter high violin note being held to enance the suspense and the sense of danger>
This enemy has infiltrated past all your defenses right into your mind.
RIGHT NOW it is robbing you of your cherished life energy…
RIGHT NOW it is causing you to complain about your life and how you want things to be different…
RIGHT NOW it is sweet-talking you into SETTLING for the status quo…
RIGHT NOW it is making you a CHICKEN!
Watch this video and slap your mediocrity down so you can take action.
