It all started ecause I had a rib in my hands and couldn’t clap.

This weekend I went to The Baxter Country Store, where my friends Pam and Dave were serving up Dave’s awesome smoked baby-back ribs and Pam’s “and” items.  A singer/songwriter named Ron came down to perform for the crowd.

Ron finished a song and I would have applauded but I had a rib in my hand and bbq sauce all over my fingers.  But I couldn’t let his efforts go unrewarded, so I called out, “Woo!”

I noticed something.  My energy lifted with that Woo, so when Ron did a particularly rousing song, I gave him a big loud WOO!  My energy lifted even more.  I was in a good mood anyway, but WOO raised the bar on my naturally rampant enthusiasm.

A delightful woman named Margie was sitting next to me, and she decided that WOO sounded like fun, so she joined in the WOO.  We got a few strange looks.  Like I care.  WOO went on…

After a few songs, each punctuated by WOO from two of us, a couple others joined in.  By the time Ron sang his last song, there was a much louder WOO!!! from various people in the crowd along with applause (and considerably more $ in Ron’s tip jar than he has sometimes received from the Baxter).

Author Frank Bettger in How I Raised Myself From Failure To Success in Selling talks about the power of WOO in chapter one.  He calls it Enthusiasm, and it is one of the greatest gifts anyone can offer the world.

Why not shout out a great big WOO and watch what happens to your energy and enthusiasm?

You just might have results like Frank and increase your income 700%.  That’s why this post is in both the Success Toolbox AND Get Profitable!
