A Lowly Apple replies to The Vegetable Orchestra on YouTube
January 21st, 2008 · Filed Under: Podcasts · Success Toolbox
The melon drums were cool, and filling a squash with seeds to make a shaker I could understand, but some of the instruments these people carved from vegetables to make a vegetable orchestra truly astounded me. And the fact that they get together and perform a concert - I have no words! (amazingly enough! )
I’m talking about the Vegetable Orchestra video on YouTube.
This is my newest experiment in viral videos. When you see a video on YouTube, you can post a comment in 3 ways:
- Video from your webcam
- Video that you upload
YouTube is a COMMUNITY, and I’m starting to work relationships to get more views. I’m not good at it yet! You can watch me grow and come play along too.
Print comments probably don’t get noticed that much.
Turning on the webcam and giving a video response is better.
Creating a video response should be kicking it up a notch. This is the video I made in reply to the AMAZING vegetable orchestra. These folks do some things with vegetables that I had not thought about. Sure, thumping a melon isn’t new - but making a carrot into a flute??? WOW!
So anyway, please go check out my brief response and of course enjoy the Vegetable Orchestra.
It will also be interesting to see if anyone from the Vegetable Orchestra notices THIS blog post and comments.
You can see all my videos on YouTube here.
Ultimately, this is all about traffic generation, and Traffic Geyser allows me to blast videos a bunch of places at once. No, I didn’t use them for this particular reply, but I do for my others.
