Viral Storytelling with The Story Lady, Ronda Del Boccio

One of my friends is in the Blogging Idol Contest & has $30K of  prizes so far with more coming in all the time.  His blog is about marketing, so drop on by Big Jason’s Big Marketing Blog and sign up for his feed to get blog updates (at least while he is running the contest!).

Don’t be scared of a feed.  It’s just a way to have the content you want delivered right to you.  What this means in terms of the contest is that you’ll receive his blog updates by email.

What a wild and wooly battle it has been to decide the 12 who will go to Top Affiliate Challenge in lincoln Nebraska. Honestly I never thought I would EVER try for a reality show, and there I was Saturday night at the edge of my seat wearing out my F5 key hoping the 11th contestant wouldn’t beat me to the top 10. I didn’t want to have to fight for my slot.

If you want to see what happened to get those last 2, check out Thor Schrock’s blog. There was a lot of campaigning g0oing on for those coveted 11 and 12 spots.

As it turns out, two young men made it, Ian Fernando and Collin Lahay. So I’m the only girl in the cast. Wild.

Anyway, Ty Hurd’s blog has been down most of the day. He has an excellent blog and I’ve commented on it a couple of times. He had an article that teaches what I taught in my last video for Top Affiliate Challenge, which is that even your online business is about relationships and about taking it offline. Maybe I inspired him? I’m really excited to have him among my Most Worthy Adversaries on the show.

So if you’ve seen the video that Jeremy Shoemaker did, you’ll know that there have been some fireworks between Ty and an outspoken contestant. They seem to be having a good old cat fight and we’re not even in Lincoln Nebraska yet. He’s got another contestant being snippy to him too, and one of the top 25% who tried to get on the show sent 2 mailings to his list saying that contestants from the top 10 are lying about him. Well, if that’s true it wasn’t Ty or me. That’s for sure.

Well anyway, when you’re putting yourself out there for a show, strange things are bound to happen. You take some arrows. Shoemaker said my video audition about put him to sleep and I can tell he doesn’t think that much of me as a competitor. Teeheehee…little he knows!

And with Ty’s blog being down most of the day I can’t help but wonder if there is some sort of attack going on. His blog has been up and down like a guy who needs a little helping hand pill, and it’s been happening all day long.

Could someone be attacking his site?

I’m not accusing anyone, mind you, however there were a LOT of fraud attacks on the Top Affiliate Site. Ty and I both were targeted with a huge number of 1 votes. The site went down a fair bit right after I know that mailings went out on my behalf from 1 enormous disability organization and 2 big time affiliate marketers, plus there were seemingly endless fraud sweeps. Ty Hurd and I both watched our scores dive and correct more times than a flock of feasting seagulls.

So I wonder if the attacks on the TAC site are now being switched to contestants? Look out guys (and being the only female, I mean that literally).

Let me spin you a story of profitability, if I may.

If you are wanting to give yourself a kick in the assets, the road to your first dollar or euro or pound or (fill in your appropriate currency) online, I’ll tell you that the road to your first unit of profit is the longest road.  Your subsequent units of profit are easier.

Have you made your first profit online yet?  How did you do it?  If you haven’t, I would like to be the mentor who guides the emerging hero - namely YOU - to the path to your first profit.

A strategy you will find on page 59 of the Guerilla Balance Sheet shows you how to make your first profit doing something you do a zillion times a day. 

I found a few cool strategies in the Guerilla Balance Sheet about how to turn what would normally be considered expenses into profit centers.  Wow what an idea.  There are 3 ways to do this, and 2 of them are things that we can do.  One of them is “saved” for the big household names like Coca Cola, which have a wide recognition.

I’m in the process of becoming a Guerilla Information marketing Certified Trainer, and one of the things I must do in order to become certified is to help someone make their first dollar/euro/pound/unit of profit online.

What I’d like to have you do is this.
