Branding expert and bestselling author Dr. Ben Mack said to me on a call this week that he loves my work at making storytelling profitable. Yes, storytelling can be profitable - and I’m not talking about movies or TV shows or even written stories.
Storytelling can be profitable for anyone in business or in a not-for profit or anyone who has an impactful message that you want to get out into the world.
One way to make storytelling profitable is to notice that there are stories everywhere, all around you, and that those stories can be used to relay a message.
Take the example of my rooster, Dartanian, who does something that no other rooster I personally know does. Watch this video.
What normal everyday happenings can you use to tell a story for your ideal customers or prospects or potential funders or JV partners?
Put on the mind of the storyteller and realize that there are stories everywhere you turn if only you have eyes to see them.
