Viral Storytelling with The Story Lady, Ronda Del Boccio

Waht story did you hear throughout yoru life about work?  Did you learn to trade time for dollars, as I did?  Did you hear things like , “go to college so you can get a good job” or “if you work hard you’ll move up the ladder and get better jobs”?

How about an alternative story.  One that allows you to understand the value you put into the marketplace and show people what they would lose by choosing not to work with you?

thats what The Mogul Maker Kevin Nations talked about on the Today’s Guest show!

We had a blast!  And you can listen in as he gives a solid hour of actionable content.  he talked about hwo most people run their business without first setting a plan.  The metaphor he used was a puzle.

He told a story about how his daughter left a half finished puzzle in her room and when Kevin went to clean it up, he noticed that she had the box top with the pattern sitting next to the puzzle in progress and the pile of pieces.  Yet most people take on a tactic like social networking or making videos or list building and do not have the top of the box so they know how it all fits together.

He talked about one huge list building mistake that most entrepreneurs make.  You can hear it on the call.

What he is having success with is the  5 figure work week plan, and he has many video case studies of people who have created rapid and massive success using his system.  What is great about this approach is that it isn’t a massive launch followed by months of low income, but a sustainable format.

And he offered everyone a gift of a half hour strategy session.  I just had mine today and am excited to start his class in a couple of weeks.

As an authoring and business coach, I notice a disease that plagues many of the people with whom I work.

Lack of clarity.

It shows up in ways such as this:  The person…

• Cannot decide what direction to take
• Starts down one path then realizes it isn’t the path he/she wants
• Tries to do too much at once
• Stabs at this thing and that without any rhyme or reason, then complains
• Casts blame on lack of time, environment, the coaching, the materials, family, job, the phase of the moon or whatever

The clients who fast track to success are the ones who move from a sense of purpose and clarity.
