I was getting ready to go to Top Affiliate Challenge and thinking how coolit would be to have flowers in my hotel room.  What a nice touch that would be, I thought, because I’m away from home and spending a long time in a hotel.  At the time I did not realize that ProFlowers was one of the show sponsors and, further, that they would provide arrangements for the show.

What kind of flowers would I like?  Imagining them was almost as fun as receiving them, so I thought about the various kinds of flowers I enjoy and would love to receive.  Wildflowers are great, but something more special and fun was in order.  A mixed bouquet is always fun…but I decided I wanted a touch of class.

After some deliberation, lilies won.  I imagined a vase with white lillies in it and thought that even though purple is my favorite color and Stargazer lillies are my favorite lily, white lilies would be just perfect.  I imagined them sitting on a cool green vase on a light brown coffee table and making the atmosphere more homey.  I saw them clearly in my mind and even smelled them and virtually touched them.

New Victorian Suites sponsored our hotel accommodations for the duration, and various restaurants provided almost every lunch and dinner we had.  When Kimberly Schrock got me settled into my room, she had a vase of white lillies in her hands.  Of all the kinds of flowers they might have given, and with there being several different arrangements on the set, I got white lilies.  Not sunflowers or a mixed bouquet or even the gorgeous purples - but white lilies.

Wow.  Now that’s some pretty good manifestation!

I set the vase of white lilies on the light brown coffee table and felt such gratitude for their beauty in my room.  They truly made the stay more pleasant.

So never underestimate the power of your mind to make things happen.
