I was shocked when I heard on the Nightline
TV show that they suspect that there may be
as many as 500 deaths attributed to this
recall.

How sad. Your pet depends on you to make
the right choices for him. And it must be
frightening to not know what you are getting
when you open a can of dog or cat food.

You know that I prepare my dog’s food, but
I’ve done it because I believe it is healthier
for them and that other things that are added
to processed pet food is not good for them and
can cause health problems.

But this incident certainly points out
another reason for preparing your own
diet for your dog.

As “Real Dogs Don’t Eat Kibble!” points out,
there are some prepared foods on the market
today that are excellent, if you feel that
you don’t have time to make your own.
