How do you tell your story on your webpage?

We received so many kudos after last night’s Storyation call. I’m always so grateful and happy that what we covered on the call touched people on such a deep level. erik Safford, The Faster Webmaster, interviewed me about the power of stories. We were both flying high for hours after the call! it’s such fun to work with someone where we have such great rapport between us.

Last night (and also Tuesday night on the Magic Teleseminar), I revealed a simple 3-step method for sharing your story on your website, so that people realize you are a real person who solved a real problem in a real amount of time. There are more ways than this to share stories, of course, but what I shared taps into a story format to which every human on the planet responds. And we were not only talking about storytelling on websites.

Erik said he learned a ton about telling stories that will help him grow his business. The website he has right now has the story of how he taught his 60+ year-old mother to create her own website using his system, but on the call, he shared how he started the Faster Webmaster program. You can hear what happened on the recording, but for now know that necessity caused him to make a change, and that he freed himself from an 80+ hour a week job and now has more time with his two young children and his wife.
