One of the things I discovered as I began my adventures in video is that sometimes one program won’t talk to another without an interpreter.  In this case, I mean that my camera shoots in Quicktime movie (.mov) format, but the software I have for creating movies doesn’t speak Quicktime.

Enter RAD video tools.

You need to get this tool and add it to your collection.  It will make things easier and you won’t have to buy the pro version of the movie software.

Now, you can use Windows MovieMaker or Mac Movie to take your video clips and add titles and so forth, or use other software.

then you’re ready to upload to YouTube and Google Video and the rest.

When you want to create a flash video, there is an option that will not cost the $200-$400_ of the major squeeze program.  It’s called Riva FLV Encoder.   Add this awesome tool to your Success Toolbox as well.

Remember, I’m mostly blind and I can do video, so you have no excuses.
