Build Your Reputation through Blogging

Whether you are an entrepreneur, businessperson, speaker, coach, author, or person working for a charitable cause, you need to build your reputation if you are going to make a splash. Blogging is one of the best ways to do this.
The easiest way to get started is to talk or write about your passion every day. Pick the key words - the words people would put into a Google search box - and use them in your posts. If you are in business, you will write about the problem you are solving, the great resources you find, etc.
I am so proud of one of my friends, Julie Henderson, is the the Princess of Persistence, and she started her blog this week. She has a big dream that she is putting into play right now. Watch her grow!
How you build a reputation is that you talk about things of interest to your target audience - the people who care about the same things you do. Google loves fresh content, and blogging gives you plenty of fresh content for the little web spiders to discover as they crawl around the net.
If you have never blogged, drop over to blogger.com adn get one.
These are some things that have happened to me because of having a blog:
1. I have been asked to speak
2. I have built a following
3. I hae received gifts
4. I have had an impact on people’s lives.
5. I have watched the success of people who I have taught blogging grow
6. I have gained customers who pay for my storytelling for business class and other products
7. I have grown my list
