[Innerspace] Authors: InnerSpace Author Interviews New Promotional Opportunity

I have looked at a lot of author promos and book tours lately, and I really like them, but there’s one thing missing…until now.

The various promotional author tours focus on excerpts, sell sheets, initerviews about the book and interviews about the industry (writing, publishing, marketing). Nothing wrong with any of that. It’s all good, but nobody is asking about the inner life of the writer.

Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, your best material comes, in one way or another, from your own life. As you explore your own depths, you can understand a character’s motivation, even if that character is completely different from you. When you explore your whole life and the greatest quest of all, you are able to create a nonfiction that touches lives.

That is what motivated me to come up with a series of questions for the InnerSpace Author Interviews, which will appear on this blog starting in January.

What aspects of your own life are woven into your book?

How do you spark your creativity?

How do you relax?

What do you enjoy doing with friends?

What quality do you most desire to develop in yourself as a person?
